The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has the honor to invite you to take part in the Annual Conference “Open Government Paradigm under Global Challenges: Listen, Understand, Act”, to be held by the initiative of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and with the support of the Astana Civil Service Hub.
The purpose of the Conference is to develop recommendations for government agencies based on discussion of open government development in Kazakhstan under current global challenges and its correlation with the concept of “the Listening State“.
Main themes of the conference are public administration, civil service, public services, economics, international relations, de-bureaucratization, anti-corruption policy, citizen-centric state apparatus, ethics and image of a civil servant, interaction between government and civil society, HR in civil service.
Within each section there will be panel discussions, as well as workshops for master and PhD students. Detailed information can be found on the conference website: https://academyconference.apa.kz
The conference will be attended by statesmen and public figures, domestic and foreign experts, representatives of government agencies, research institutes and think tanks, the expert community, Master and PhD students. Participation and publication of articles are free.
Selected articles will be published in the “Public administration and public service” journal (https://journal.apa.kz/index.php/path).

The working languages are Kazakh, Russian, and English.
